The Certification Framework

The 5-Tier Assessment Matrix

- 🟢 Hireable (3.5–4.4): Certified
Solid safeguarding knowledge. Cleared for standard hire with routine institutional onboarding.
- 🟡 Trainable (2.5–3.4): Conditional Certification
Displays baseline understanding but possesses minor blind spots. Mandates a targeted safeguarding workshop before the coach is permitted to work unsupervised.
- 🟠 Provisional (1.5–2.4): Uncertified (Supervised Only)
Heavy remediation training required. The candidate cannot hold an independent coaching role and must be strictly supervised by an A1 Verified adult at all times.
- 🔴 Do Not Hire (0.0–1.4): Disqualified
Immediate disqualification due to severe red flags, grooming reflexes, or complete disregard for safety protocols.
The Annual Re-Validation Cycle
Child protection standards, digital privacy norms, and legal compliance frameworks (like POSH and POCSO) are constantly evolving. A static, one-time certificate creates a false sense of security.
To maintain active A1 Verified status, all certifications strictly expire after 12 months.
